Naturally, I was in tears with laughter. This is hilarious. Then I began thinking, “what if George Brett cam across this and started using it as his actual online presence?” Awesome, right?
The image comes from Jeremy Scheuch’s website where he makes lots of “pseudo-religious pop-political crap & zombies”, including lots of zombie baseball cards of 1980s MLB icons as zombies, including: Ryne Sandberg, Bo Jackson, Barry Bonds, Jose Canseco, Willie Wilson and many more.
For those who are a bit sensitive, there are human female breasts on page 2 of the website.
A little about Jeremy Scheuch:
Jeremy Scheuch hates talking about himself in the third person. He is an artist whose work has been featured on Threadless.com as a Select Series Artist; his work is in the permanent collection of the Brauer Museum. Growing up in Kansas, Jeremy graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute in 2001.His imagery and inspiration are mined from magazines, celebrity blogs, vintage dictionaries, clip art, thrift stores and flea markets. He was at the Lincoln Park Zoo a few years back and saw a seagull eat a cute little baby duck; it scared the hell out of him and influences him to this day. Jeremy loves unicorns, kittens, dolphins, rainbows, dinosaurs, Jesus and America. He currently lives in Chicago.
